Getting Started
You’ll need the following to open an estate account:
Letters of Administration naming the Personal Representative(s)
Tax Identification Number (also known as an Employer Identification Number, EIN) issued by the IRS for the estate. Application for EIN available at irs.gov.
Death Certificate
Valid Photo ID (unexpired Driver’s License, State ID, Passport) for each Personal Representative
