How do I add or change an account beneficiary in Online Banking?

You can add or change the beneficiary for your account via FAIRWINDS Online. To do so, follow these steps: 

  1. Log in to FAIRWINDS Online  
  2. Select "Additional Services" and choose "Documents & Forms" 
  3. Select "Payable on Death" 
  4. Print, complete, and return the form to FAIRWINDS

Keep in mind the following: 

  • Beneficiary designations are done PER account. 
  • The document must be notarized, if not being signed in front of a FAIRWINDS representative, and is not valid until returned to FAIRWINDS. 
  • Payout of your account funds after your death will only occur when there are no surviving joint owners on the account.
