Mack R. Perry (Incumbent)

As a member of our credit union for the past 43 years, I have actively served the FAIRWINDS membership on their Board of Directors in various positions that include Secretary, Vice Chairman, and Chairman of the Board. During my tenure on the Board, FAIRWINDS has grown from $60 million in assets to over $4.7 billion.

Professionally I have served in various DOD Comptroller/Financial Management executive level positions. The most recent of which is the Business Manager for Army Programs, responsible for the execution and administration of contracts in excess of $200M. I have a BA in Mathematics and a Master’s degree from Rollins College, Crummer Graduate School of Business. I would like to continue serving on FAIRWINDS’ Board to improve the financial well-being of our members through convenient and efficient member service, competitive rates, and sound financial management, thus ensuring that FAIRWINDS remains a financially sound, member-oriented credit union that ultimately facilitates members' achievement of financial freedom.

I currently serve on the board of directors for FAIRWINDS and would like to volunteer for the board position because I am fully committed to ensuring the continued success of the credit union movement and, more specifically, FAIRWINDS Credit Union. I believe FAIRWINDS is an outstanding company with excellent business practices and most importantly, outstanding member service philosophies. I would like to share my experience from working in a large organization and help support the continued success of FAIRWINDS.

My professional experience has included working as a Senior Management and Budget Analyst, Capital Projects Coordinator, Administrator in the Office of Management and Budget, Risk Manager for a large self-insurance fund, the Deputy Manager for Downtown Orange County as part of the Orange County Convention Center Guest, Community and Government Relations Division, Business Manager for the Seminole County Leisure Services Department, Director of Financial Services for the City of Longwood, CFO for Volusia County Schools and currently I am the Assistant County Administrator for Orange County Government. My career experience has provided me the opportunity to work on many issues ranging from financial management, human resources, wellness, guest and community relations, and marketing, all with the bottom line of helping support community and economic development for Central Florida.
