FAIRWINDS College Scholarships
Are you college-bound? Then, you’ll be happy to hear that FAIRWINDS is awarding five $2,500 scholarships to high school seniors planning to attend a two-year or four-year college or university. Each applicant must be a member of FAIRWINDS.

Essay Question
As part of your application, please include a 250-500 word essay that tells us why you think financial literacy is important for a successful future. What has been your most valuable lesson of your educational career and how has it shaped your pursuit of reaching financial freedom? Furthermore, what financial goals are you working toward and how do you see yourself accomplishing the FAIRWINDS Money Milestones to reach these goals?
The applicants are judged based on numerous factors, including the following:
SAR (Student Aid Report). Generated once you have completed your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). This can be downloaded once your FAFSA has been submitted.
Letter of recommendation.
GPA.
SAT and/or ACT scores.
Extracurricular activities both in school and in the community.
Written essay.
